Dead Letter Press has published Classic Vampires Revisited: A Consuming Passion, the nineteenth title in its Literary Vampire series, an ongoing series of ultra-limited edition chapbooks showcasing the essential works in the literary evolution of the vampire genre. A Consuming Passion was limited to 26 Lettered copies and was out of print upon publication.  The chapbook presents four tales of vampirism from the mid-1890s, the eve of the publication of Dracula, as well as an afterword by editor Tom English explaining the troublesome similarity between Varney The Vampire and the legend of the Croglin Grange vampire.
