Following its contract with The Literary Press Group of Canada (LPG), ChiZine Publications (CZP) has announced that its titles are now or will soon be available in Chapters locations across Canada.

With the LPG’s nation-wide reach, CZP is now able to place its books in book stores whereas previously they had only been available on the Web via online retailers or the CZP website. Daniel A. Rabuzzi’s young adult fantasy novel The Choir Boats and best selling author Robert J. Wiersema’s novella The World More Full of Weeping are now widely available with short story collections Object of Worship (Claude Lalumière) and Monstrous Affections (David Nickle) also available in some stores. CZP’s first two titles—Filaria by Brent Hayward and Horror Story and Other Horror Stories by Robert Boyczuk—will soon be available as well.

To find if a book is available in your local Chapters, visit their website (Chapters) to find one of CZP’s book and click the tell us your location link in the “Store Lookup” box in the right column. Then enter your city or postal code to find locations near you and if they have copies of the book in stock.

“This has been a goal since we started,” says Brett Alexander Savory, Bram Stoker Award winning co-publisher of ChiZine Publications. “Some small presses don’t ever make it into big chain stores. And with so many of our authors living in Canada, you might find signed copies in your local Chapters.”

The placement of books in stores corresponds with CZP offering its books in popular e-book formats to increase the options of how and where readers get their books.
