John Kenny is editing a new original horror anthology called Box of Delights for Aeon Press. He’s looking for new and exciting horror, dark fantasy and weird for the anthology. Unpublished stories only. No reprints. There is no theme, but the title can be used as a springboard or starting point if required.
Payment is €10 advance against shared royalties + copy/story.
The reading period is May 31, 2011 or until the anthology is filled. 2,500 – 8,000 words in length. You can expect approximately a 30 day response on your submission. This anthology does NOT accept postal submissions. Type of electronic submissions accepted: attach as a DOC or PDF file only and send to [email protected]. Include a bio. Simultaneous submissions are accepted. Multiple submissions are accepted.
The book will be a one time print-on-demand publication through Aeon Press. The projected publication date for Box of Delights is 2011.
