On their website, Albedo One has announced the stories shortlisted after the third deadline for the Aeon Award. The Award is still open to submissions any time between now and the end of June 2007, when the final stories making the shortlist will be announced. After this the top six will be chosen and sent to respected SF author Ian Watson for a final decision. The prize is $1000 and publication in Albedo One, and is open to writers of all nationalities. Stories can be in any spec fic genre, including horror, SF, fantasy and anything in-between, and the entry fee is $5, $6 or $4. It’s also been decided that the winner will be announced at the forthcoming European Science Fiction Convention in Copenhagen, Denmark, September 2007.
